本作は死んだ人の魂が冥土に向かう前に訪れるという美容室・冥供愛富（メイクアップ）を舞台にした物語。そこでは、死神美容師の手によってお色直しをした人々が、現世にいる家族や大切な人と最後に数分だけ会うことができる。ある日、佐伯ミホは交通事故で昏睡状態になったものの、まだ生きているのに冥供愛富に来てしまう。
